The Period I ended with a great display of skills by the participants but in the end, only 4 masters were able to keep the continental spots to play the Eliminations. The OPWC had a little talk with the qualifiers to share with the rest of the contestants the thoughts and feelings of the first members of the Continental Preliminary Teams. This time we bring you The Best Australia-Asia-Africa Player and flaming Runner-up of the whole competition during Period I Mr. Mario "oMUZZAo" Tomic

1. How did your poker career start? How was the first poker experience?
Basically, when POKER became a very-popular game to play in local bars and pubs etc.etc...Me and my friends would like to have a few drinks and thought playing poker at the same-time would be a lot of fun, and yes, we were right!!..We had many great nights out, and played pretty good poker which also filled up our wallets a little bit too!!..lol
2. You’re the winner of your Whole Continent during Period I; how do you feel about it?
I am very-happy that I had gone so-far in the ranking for the very 1st period on OPWC.I am more-Happy that I am No.1 for my continent and was also placed 2nd overall in the entire ranking schedule!
3. The OPWC gives an instant spot in the Continental Team (NO Elimination battle needed) to the player who finishes two periods in a row as the best of his continent. Are you going to win this period again to qualify directly for the OPWC Main Event?
I did not know of this formula earlier, and now that I do, I am going to try to win, BACK to BACK periods for-sure!.. Awesome!...would LOVE an Instant spot for the MAIN-EVENT!
4. Please tell us how have your feelings and motivations changed since you started playing Ranked at the Online Poker World Championship?
I have to say, I am always motivated, but OPWC has made it a lot more exciting!!....this OPWC tournament is a lot of fun!!...and well worth the time if you play online poker!
It is a very-FAIR structure for all players, and gives players a bit of publicity, which is always good!!..hehe
5. What is your strongest skill in the game, that ability which makes you have better results than the rest of competitors?
I believe my strongest skills are definitely PATIENCE 1st,and then CONCENTRATION!!,,,without them, I don’t think I would have done so-well in period 1 for OPWC, and also for most of my Poker playing days!
6. Please leave a message for your friends, rivals and colleagues of the OPWC.
It has been a pleasure to meet so many nice new faces of POKER on the OPWC....I wish them all the best of Luck, hopefully they are enjoying themselves as much as I am!!! And remember everyone..- oMUZZA SMASH!!!!!....all the best!

The OPWC will bring you another interview with one of the national qualifiers, so stay tuned and keep crushing the poker tables.
