Greg Merson Won the Main Event of the WSOP after mastering the Final Table in one of the most beautiful displays of poker greatness. A long battle that lasted 18 hours finished at 5:45 am today.
The North American master made it to the first place not only at this event but also at the general ranking for Player Of the Year (POY) defeating Phil Hellmuth and reaching the greatest poker victory at the early age of 24. Merson had won another bracelet and a huge money prize earlier these series but had to win the Main Event in order to achieve the most wanted World Title in the game.
This New-born Legend of poker has still a bright and long road ahead and we are sure there will be a lot more coming from him. Congratulations to the WSOP 2025 Champion.
